"Who listens to this shit?" That's what I said to myself the first time I heard BMSR. With the exception of one or two songs, their first few albums are almost unlistenable. Eating Us however, is a step in the right direction. Many many steps in the right direction. BMSR has created one of the most distinct & original sounds since Primus (that's probably the only comparison I can make) and is definitely an acquired taste. Not for everyone, but give it a chance. Listen to this song at least twice, and you'll be humming it all day. Sounds like syrup.
